USC legend Matt Leinart, actor Jerry Ferrara start new podcast

The podcast titled “Throwbacks” is launching September 5 with its first episode, starring former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart and Entourage star actor Jerry Ferrara.

New episodes of Throwbacks drop every Thursday. You can watch the show on YouTube or listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get podcasts.

“Throwbacks” will pair Heisman Trophy winner Leinart with actor Ferrara, whom “both know what it is to experience extreme success, they both love talking sports, and they’re both navigating the challenges of dad-life,” Sinclair said in a release. Both will share stories about the successes in their respective fields Leinart in football, Ferrara in film and television — while also offering “thoughtful sports opinions and relatable family adventures.”

The duo also say they will chop it up about all things sports – from current headlines to wild off-field stories and everything in between. They will even share stories from Matt’s many years in football locker rooms and Jerry’s many years on the set of an iconic TV series.
