The Georgia Bulldogs are 1-0 after picking up a 34-3 win over the Clemson Tigers . Georgia used a dominant second half where the Bulldogs outscored Clemson 28-3 to erase the Tigers’ hopes of an upset.

Quarterback Carson Beck and the Georgia offense found its rhythm in the second half. Georgia’s second half success started on first down. The Bulldogs passed more on first to open up the Clemson defense, which was loading up to stop the Dawgs’ run attack.

Carson Beck completed 23 of 33 passes for 273 passing yards and two touchdowns. He showed improved mobility throughout the contest and was accurate for the most part. Beck and the Georgia offense avoided turnovers and did not allow Clemson to have much hope as the Bulldogs poured it on in the second half.

Transfer wide receivers Colbie Young and Landon Humphreys both caught second half touchdowns. Receiver Dillon Bell left the game with cramps. Running back Nate Frazier had 11 carries for 83 yards and one touchdown in the Bulldogs’ win.

The Bulldog defense limited Clemson’s offense, which did not look very potent. Clemson managed only 188 total yards and just 13 first downs.

Georgia safety Malaki Starks forced the Tigers’ lone turnover of the day. He recorded an epic interception that looked very similar to the interception he had against Oregon as a true freshman. Linebacker Jalon Walker recorded 1.5 sacks in Georgia’s win. Linebacker CJ Allen was flying all over the place.

Here’s how Georgia football fans, members of the media and more reacted on social media after the Bulldogs’ huge win over Clemson.
