Pre-tournament favorite Scottie Scheffler (+333 to start the week) is at 25-under-par and will take a 5-stroke lead into Sunday’s final round at East Lake Golf Club (7,490 yards, par 71). Scheffler is No. 1 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings.

Defending champion Viktor Hovland , who won at 27-under in Atlanta last year , is tied for 13th place at 10-under after shooting 69-71-65. He opened at +6600 to win.

Scottie Scheffler (-1600)

The 28-year-old pro is about to cap off one of the greatest seasons in PGA Tour history. The world’s No. 1 player and 2-time Masters champ shot his 2nd straight 5-under 66 to go with an opening 65 and has a 5-stroke lead as he goes for his 7th win of the season and 13th in his career. He also won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

Collin Morikawa (+1000)

The 27-year-old pro, who opened at +2500 to win, shot a 4-under 67 to go with a 66-63 and will try to rally for his 7th career title. The 2-time major champ is the No. 9 player in Golfweek’s rankings.

2024 Tour Championship – In the hunt

Before the final group tees off at 1:05 p.m. ET (11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. ET Golf Channel; 1:30 p.m. NBC) here are 3 other players to watch as they try to climb up to 2nd place.

Sahith Theegala (+30000): Golfweek’s No. 25 player starts in 3rd place, 9 shots back at 17-under after rounds of 67-66-66. He opened at +12500.

Xander Schauffele (+20000): He starts in 4th place, 10 shots back at 16-under after rounds of 70-64-71. Golfweek’s No. 2 player opened at +240.

Adam Scott (+150000): He starts tied for 5th place, 11 shots back at 15-under after rounds of 66-67-68. Golfweek’s No. 47 player opened at +6600.
