Spartans open as heavy underdogs at Maryland next week

Michigan State football has opened as a sizable underdog in next week’s conference matchup at Maryland.

Michigan State and Maryland both picked up wins in their season-opening matchups, but the Terps looked more impressive in its blowout win over UConn. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and the game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
