    Wisconsin still 'receiving votes' in US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 2

    The Wisconsin football team (2-0) was once again in the ‘receiving votes’ category of the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.

    The Badgers took down South Dakota 27-13 at home Saturday, receiving 28 total votes — the 31st-highest total of all listed teams.

    The US LBM Coaches Poll is conducted weekly throughout the college football regular season and Wisconsin garnered 11 total votes last week, which ranked as the 33rd-most in the nation.

    The top of the poll this week is led by Georgia at No. 1 overall, then Ohio State at No. 2, Texas at No. 3, Alabama at No. 4. and Ole Miss at No. 5, which is the exact order from last week.

    Wisconsin will now host No. 4 Alabama (2-0) on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT for the first matchup of a home-and-home series between the two programs. The Badgers will look to channel their 2016 form, which was the year they knocked off fifth-ranked LSU at Lambeau Field.
