Nebraska ranked in Week 2 of US LBM Coaches Poll

    By Danny Jaillet,

    2024-09-08

Nebraska football is still riding high after Saturday’s 28-10 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes . They appeared in the US LBM Coaches Poll at No. 24.

The Huskers have started the season strong. They defeated UTEP by a 40-7 margin before securing the victory against Colorado on Saturday.

They are set to face Northern Iowa next weekend, with a chance to improve their ranking. Right now, the Huskers are continuing to generate buzz all across college football, starting the season 2-0 for the first time since the 2016 campaign.

It will be interesting to see how their ranking improves if they can string together more wins. The schedule is favorable over the next few weeks as Nebraska looks to continue building on the early success. At the very least, this could be considered a building block for a program that has struggled in recent memory.
