Steve Avila ruled out vs. Lions due to knee injury

The injury hits just keep coming for the Rams. Puka Nacua and Joe Noteboom both left the game in the second quarter and now Steve Avila is also injured.

At the start of the third quarter, the Rams announced that Avila has been ruled out with a knee injury. It’s unclear when the injury occurred but he will not return against the Lions.

In his place, the Rams moved Jonah Jackson to left guard and inserted rookie Beaux Limmer in at center. So the Rams are now without their top three offensive tackles, their starting left guard and their top receiver.
