The New York Giants (0-1) and Washington Commanders (0-1) meet Sunday in Week 2. Kickoff from Northwest Stadium is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Giants vs. Commanders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook before making our expert NFL picks and predictions later in the week.
The Giants had a rough start to the season, getting crushed 28-6 by the Minnesota Vikings at home. They couldn’t manage a TD and QB Daniel Jones struggled, completing less than half of his passes and tossing 2 picks. Rookie WR Malik Nabors was a silver lining, with 5 catches for 66 yards in his debut. But with the defense giving up over 300 yards, it was a tough day all around for New York.
The Commanders also had a tough start to the season, falling 37-20 to the Buccaneers on the road. Rookie QB Jayden Daniels, the 2nd overall pick, showed some promise, throwing for 184 yards and impressively rushing for 88 yards and 2 TDs. RB Brian Robinson also contributed with 89 yards and a score on 15 touches. But the defense couldn’t hold up, giving up nearly 400 yards of total offense to Tampa Bay.
