Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff to visit Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday

Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff will broadcast live from Madison, Wisconsin for the Badgers’ Week 3 contest against the Alabama Crimson Tide this Saturday.

While ESPN will not send its College GameDay crew to UW’s campus to cover its most important bout of the 2024 slate, FOX’s star-studded college football pregame show will make an appearance in Madison for the first time in three years.

That last visit featured the Badgers against the Michigan Wolverines on Oct. 2, 2021. Wisconsin ended up dropping the game 38-17 in one of its first home games with a raucous student section since the 2020 COVID season.

Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff crew includes former Alabama running back Mark Ingram II, USC quarterback Matt Leinart, Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn and Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer.

Studio host Rob Stone, gambling expert Chris Fallica and reporters Bruce Feldman and Tom Rinaldi round out the eight-person group for the 2024 college season.

Including its upcoming game against Alabama, Wisconsin has received six Big Noon Kickoff on-site appearances. UW is 0-5 in its previous Big Noon matches since the program began in 2019.

In terms of the actual game, Wisconsin will need to deploy as much offensive firepower to remain competitive with the Crimson Tide. While UW has vanquished Western Michigan and South Dakota through its first two games of 2024, its passing attack has yet to appear anywhere near dynamic.

Alabama will venture to Madison one week after defeating South Florida in somewhat of an ugly performance. It’s safe to say all eyes will be directed towards Camp Randall’s hallowed turf on Sept. 14.
