Jets' Breece Hall, 49ers' Brock Purdy exchange jerseys post game

New York Jets running back Breece Hall and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy go way back. It makes sense why they would exchange jerseys following their head-to-head in Week 1.

The 49ers pulled out the 32-19 win over the Jets. While Hall was not on the winning side, he has been on Purdy’s sideline plenty. The two were teammates in college at Iowa State.

Both were selected by their respective teams at the 2022 NFL draft–Hall in the second round and Purdy the last overall pick in the entire event.

Purdy’s earned his stripes in the NFL well beyond that, but regardless, his former teammates needed to switch jerseys after the final whistle no matter where their careers have taken them.
