After back-to-back wins over Western Kentucky and South Florida to begin the year, the Alabama Crimson Tide are now set for arguably their toughest test yet via a road trip to Madison where the Wisconsin Badgers await.

Ahead of this week’s matchup, here are our Roll Tide Wire staff predictions for Alabama vs. Wisconsin:

    Matt – Alabama 38, Wisconsin 17

As mentioned in my talk with Badgers Wire’s Ben Kenney, Wisconsin will not be able to keep up with Alabama offensively in this contest. Expect the Badgers to potentially keep things close early-on, but for Alabama to pull away in the second half.

    Brody – Alabama 31, Wisconsin 14

Alabama is coming off a less than stellar performance in Week 2 against USF. The 42-16 final score is not indicative of how the Crimson Tide performed over the course of the first three and a half quarters. Alabama will look to make a statement on the road against a good Wisconsin team. With starting left tackle Kadyn Proctor likely returning to the starting lineup, I look for Alabama to impose their will early and often on the trenches. The defense will look to bounce back from a subpar performance in Week 2. The Crimson Tide will bounce back in fashion.

    Sam – Alabama 34, Wisconsin 14

After two Group of 5 opponents to open the 2024 season, the competition gets much stiffer in Week 3 as the Crimson Tide take on the (2-0) Wisconsin Badgers. Alabama’s offensive line struggled against USF, but Kadyn Proctor and Eliah Pritchett are both expected to be healthy and able to start. The game will come down to who can win the war in the trenches, but Alabama just has many more ways to hurt you. The Badgers and Tyler Van Dyke have been a little slow out of the gate, and usually, teams don’t find their rhythm against Alabama.
