Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts got engaged to longtime girlfriend Bry Burrows

Jalen Hurts is the face of the Eagles, one of the best quarterbacks on the planet, and set to tie the knot in the coming months.

In an exclusive reveal for ESSENCE, Hurts and longtime girlfriend, Bry Burrows, got engaged this summer while on vacation before the quarterback returned to Philadelphia for training camp.

The couple shared exclusive images with ESSENCE from the day the star sportsman popped the question, including a look at the romantic backdrop for the moment. It included a violinist, candles, and red roses strewn about. We also get to see an intimate moment, with the two holding each other, looking out into the ocean. The proposal took place a while ago when the two were on vacation before the start of the new NFL season.

Burrows, who works for IBM, met Hurts while they were studying at the University of Alabama. She joined Hurts on the field after the Eagles won the NFC Championship and was in attendance when he signed his historic $255 million contract.
