The door remains wide open for quarterback Jordan Love to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The Green Bay Packers listed Love — who is dealing with a knee injury — as questionable to play on the final injury report of Week 2.

“He’s doing good,” coach Matt LaFleur said of Love on Friday. “He’s got a great attitude and he’s working hard and getting better every day.”

Running back MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) and receiver Jayden Reed (shin/calf) are also questionable to play. Reed was added to the report on Friday with a new injury.

Love’s status designation comes after he injured his left knee in the final seconds of the Packers’ season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. The second-year starter missed all three days of practice this week.

Throughout the week, LaFleur has left the door open to Love playing, even if he missed the entire week of practice.

There are three levels status designations on a final injury report: questionable, doubtful and out. Love’s questionable designation gives him a real chance to play on Sunday.

The backup quarterback is Malik Willis, who most assumed was going to start with Love expected to miss multiple games.

Of course, the Packers could still be posturing, but manipulating the injury report isn’t allowed. And the Packers could have listed Love as doubtful if he truly wasn’t close to a return.

So the waiting game continues. The Packers will reveal gameday inactives 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday, or around 10:30 a.m. local time. It’s possible we won’t know Love’s status until Sunday morning.

The Colts ruled out safety Julian Blackmon and listed three others — defensive lineman DeForest Buckner, defensive end Kwity Paye and receiver Josh Downs — as questionable to play.
