Travis Hunter made an interception near the end of the third quarter in Colorado’s 28-6 victory over Colorado State on Saturday.

The Buffaloes celebrated far too much to the officials’ liking and four — count ’em four — players including Hunter were flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.

How did that happen? Hunter spun the football and teammates huddled around it like it was a campfire and they were warming their hands. This isn’t the NFL.

The romp by Deion Sanders’ team was a flag fest overall: Colorado had 12 penalties for 110 yards; CSU was flagged 10 times for 94 yards.

Add it up and you have 22 accepted penalties for 204 yards.

    Hunter had quite the game.

Sanders is a punk, and he's teaching his players to be dirtbags. Reminds me of Tom Landry speaking to Butch Johnson after he did one of his look at me dances in the end zone. Tom said, "Act like you've been there before." We've gone from hard hits and maximum effort to soy boys, man buns, and low IQ players dancing around like children. One of the reasons I don't watch much anymore. If I want to see wife beaters, rapists and murderers, I'll put my badge back on.
