NFL power rankings: Broncos ranked as 3rd-worst team

Things aren’t looking great in Broncos Country.

The Denver Broncos are 0-2 after having scored just one touchdown through two weeks into the 2024 NFL season. Denver is now ranked No. 30 in Nate Davis’ latest NFL power rankings , which makes them the third-worst team in the league, at least in Davis’ estimation.

Here is Davis’ commentary on the Broncos this week:

To recap, Sean Payton’s offense is averaging 7.7 points and 48 yards fewer per game since QB Russell Wilson was banished late last season.

Elsewhere in the AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs are ranked No. 1, the Los Angeles Chargers are ranked No. 14 and the Las Vegas Raiders are ranked No. 21. Denver is viewed as the worst team in the division.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who will host Denver on Sunday, are ranked No. 4. Things aren’t about to get any easier for the Broncos.
