ESPN “College GameDay” analyst Rece Davis has released his latest top 10 college football rankings. Davis, who is a voter in the Associated Press poll, continues to rank the Texas Longhorns as his No. 1 team ahead Week 5.

Davis’ No. 2 team, the Georgia Bulldogs, face his No. 7 team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. Georgia (3-0) is slight favorites over Alabama (3-0), but will play in a hostile road environment against the Crimson Tide. Davis and GameDay will be in Tuscaloosa for the Georgia at Alabama game.

Other top games in Week 5 include Oklahoma State at Kansas State, Louisville at Notre Dame, and Illinois at Penn State. Conference action is fully underway, so we’re finally into the meat of the college football schedule.

Rece Davis ranks the Miami Hurricanes in his top five after Miami’s latest win over USF. Davis also has the Tennessee Volunteers in his top five. Tennessee won 25-15 against the Oklahoma Sooners in their SEC opener last week. Speaking of the top conference in college football, SEC teams make up half of Davis’ top 10 rankings.
