Giants WR Malik Nabers 'all good' after suffering concussion vs. Cowboys

New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers was forced to leave Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys late in the fourth quarter after suffering a concussion.

Nabers had attempted to make a tight catch along the sideline but appeared to be out cold after his helmet crashed into the ground. He lay motionless for a moment in a scary scene.

“I’m going to see him right after this. I was going to stop in, he was with the doctors right before I came in here. I’ll see him right after,” head coach Brian Daboll told reported during his postgame press conference.

In the locker room after the game, linebacker Brian Burns checked in on Nabers during media availability. The two shared a laugh, allowing for a sigh of relief from the Giants’ organization.

Early on Friday morning, Nabers also sought to put concerns to rest with an Instagram story, saying he was “all good.”

Nabers will enter concussion protocol but with 10 days until the Giants’ next game against the Seattle Seahawks, he should be able to clear and be available.

Through four weeks, Nabers has hauled in 35 receptions for 386 yards and three touchdowns.
