Tom Izzo joins Detroit Pistons vs. Phoenix Suns TV broadcast, talks Devin Booker's recruitment

The Phoenix Suns are in East Lansing tonight to play the Detroit Pistons in a preseason exhibition, which means Grand Rapids local and NBA superstar Devin Booker is back in his home state. Of course, Tom Izzo was also in the building, and he joined the TV broadcast to talk about the game, and specifically, the recruitment of Devin Booker.

Booker, who was wearing Michigan State gear in warm-ups, has recently confirmed that he almost committed to the Spartans before choosing Kentucky at the last minute, and Tom Izzo talked about that on the broadcast. He said that Booker also came and watched practice, talked to the team, gave them free shoes, and he also called Booker ‘a great kid.’
