Tennessee's all time football results on Oct. 12

Kickoff between the Vols and Gators is slated for 7 p.m. EDT at Neyland Stadium. ABC will televise the matchup.

Saturday will mark the 16th time Tennessee will play on Oct.12. The Vols have an 11-5 record, on the field, in previous games played on this date. Tennessee vacated its victory over Mississippi State in 2019 due to NCAA sanctions.

2019 was the last season Tennessee played on Oct. 12.

Tennessee first played on Oct. 12 in 1901, defeating King University, 8-0.

The Vols have played Florida two times on Oct. 12. The Gators defeated Tennessee, 17-10, in 1985. Florida also won, 35-18, in 1991.
