Updated SEC football standings after Week 7's action

Week 7 of the 2024 SEC football season shaped up to be an eventful one going into Saturday, and the weekend slate certainly lived up to the hype across the conference.

A Saturday slate that included rivalry matchups, near upsets, and more, here are the updated SEC football standings as we look ahead to Week 8:

T-5. Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Alabama, Tennessee (2-1)

9. Missouri (1-1)

T-10. Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Florida (1-2)

T-13. South Carolina, Kentucky (1-3)

T-15. Auburn, Mississippi State (0-3)

With their win over South Carolina, Alabama advanced to 2-1 overall in SEC play, which is currently tied for fifth in the conference. The Crimson Tide’s next SEC game will come in Week 8 in Knoxville against the rival Tennessee Volunteers in what will be a showdown of 2-1 teams.
