One of the nation’s best defensive linemen is considering Auburn for his college destination ahead of the early signing period.

Justus Terry, a five-star defensive tackle from Manchester, Georgia, will pay a visit to the Plains for Auburn’s Nov. 2 game with Vanderbilt, according to Auburn Undercover’s Christian Clemente.

Terry has bounced around with his commitment status. Terry first committed to Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs in January 2023 before backing off the pledge in March of this year in favor of flipping to USC. However, the commitment lasted three months before he re-opened his recruitment. Alabama, Georgia, and Florida State are the schools showing the most interest in Terry, with Georgia being the favorite to sign him.

Terry is a 6-5, 275-pound defensive tackle and is tabbed a five-star at the position according to 247Sports. He is the No. 3 overall player from Georgia and is the No. 2 defensive lineman in the country from the 2025 recruiting cycle. According to Sam Spiegelman of Rivals, Terry is also scheduled to visit Texas on Oct. 19 and Florida State on Nov. 30. The early signing period begins on Friday, Dec. 20.
