Exploring the Mystic Charm and Southern Flavors at Purple Sage

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Purple Sage, a recommended spot in Park City known for its unique ambiance and intriguing menu. The restaurant boasts a mystic vibe with beautifully painted scenes on the walls, creating a lovely atmosphere that complements the dining experience. I opted for the salmon and duck dishes, which were cooked to perfection. The salmon was juicy with a perfectly pink center, and the duck was also pink in the middle, just how I like it. The mini sweet cornbread muffins served as a delightful starter, adding a touch of Southern charm to the meal.

While the main dishes were satisfying, some of the pairings could use a bit of tweaking. The grits served with the salmon were fine, though quite plain, and the mac and cheese accompanying the duck was light on flavor. Despite these minor points, the overall culinary experience was enjoyable, highlighted by excellent service from the staff. The desserts, including pudding and bread pudding, though basic, rounded off the meal nicely. Purple Sage is definitely a place I'd revisit, eager to try more of their Southern-inspired menu with a hint of Mexican influence.
