New heartbreaking footage emerges of Gabby Petito's parents

New heartbreaking footage has emerged of Gabby Petito's parents - Tara and Joe - who tragically lost their daughter in August of 2021.

Petito and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Brian Laundrie, were stopped by police officers in Utah last summer, with bodycam footage of the incident being widely discussed following its release .

Despite this police stoppage , Petito's boyfriend was not apprehended. Brian Laundrie then killed Gabby, and her body was later found on the edge of Grand Teton national park in Wyoming.

The case was followed by thousands across the world, largely due to Gabby's online presence at the time, with many interrnet sleuths of the opinion that there was something wrong with their relationship all along.

A new documentary series that will air in Australia aims to shed on a light on the case, and features some heartbreaking footge of Gabby's parents.

While police were hunting for Laundrie and before Gabby's body was found , internet users had already pieced together the case.

Brian Laundrie was found dead in Florida's Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park on October 20. He died from a gunshot wound to the head, next to a notebook in which he admitted to the murder .
