Domestic Dispute Call Leads to Arson Charge For Rochester Woman
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester woman is facing an arson charge stemming from a domestic dispute that occurred in late May. According to a criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court, Rochester police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at a duplex in northwest Rochester around 10:15 PM on the night of May 30. When they arrived at the property, one of the officers reported hearing a fire alarm sounding throughout the building and a burnt odor in the residence.

Rattler bites rare but Winona hospital ready
WINONA, Minn. – Nobody in recent memory recalls any rattlesnake bite cases at the Winona hospital, but the pharmacy director, Jill Ender, says the emergency room is prepared. Antivenom serum can be flown from Mayo Clinic Rochester on short notice, she said. There usually is a six-hour window to treat a bite, Ender said. Because of the rarity of bites and a short expiration of the antivenom, the hospital doesn’t stock its own supply.
