    In wake of shooting death, Utica cancels Fourth of July party, fireworks; parade still on

    Utica has decided to postpone its annual Fourth of July Party in the Park and fireworks display following the recent officer involved shooting death of Nyah Mway, the Utica Center for Development announced Monday night in a statement.

    The Independence Day Parade will still proceed as planned and will step off at 10 a.m.

    All postponed events and displays will be rescheduled at a date to be announced soon.
