This Wednesday marks September 11 and municipalities across the country are holding ceremonies to commemorate those who lost their lives in the attack and the first responders who died trying to save them.

Each municipality has its own unique ceremony.

In Oneida County, Utica will be placing wreathes while New York Mills will hold a silent march.

Over in Madison County, an entire street in Canastota and Lenox will be closed while people gather.

Regardless of how ceremonies are conducted, they all are done for one reason: to never forget.
