Man killed in Valdosta apartment shooting
VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - A man was killed in an early Thursday morning shooting in Valdosta. Around 3:30 a.m. on July 18, Valdosta police officers were called to the Park Chase Apartments to a report of a person being shot. Officers say when they got to the scene they found a 32-year-old man in the stairwell with a gunshot to his torso.

Bryce Parrish: A future leader in STEM and service
Bryce Parrish, an upcoming ninth grader at Bulloch Academy, recently completed the prestigious US Naval Academy (USNA) STEM Program. Out of over 5,000 applicants, only 330 students per grade were chosen, making Parrish's participation a significant achievement.
