Parent arrested for allegedly assaulting high school teacher
BATON ROUGE — An Istrouma High School parent was arrested for allegedly assaulting her son’s teacher on Tuesday. Baton Rouge Police arrested Roshanda Williams, 45, on Thursday for assault on a school teacher by a non-student. The arrest happened after Williams went to the school on August 27 in regards to her son receiving a write up in class. In a parent-teacher conference about the situation in question, Williams became belligerent and began cursing and acting aggressively toward the teacher, according to BRPD.
