Thunderstorms moving across Northern California on Saturday dropped heavy rain across parts of the region. One person killed in crash on 101 Freeway in North Hollywood
A person was killed Sunday in a crash on the 101 Freeway in North Hollywood. The California Highway Patrol said the crash unfolded just before 5 a.m. on the northbound freeway at the Vineland Avenue off-ramp. It prompted the CHP to close the northbound lanes of the freeway for several hours, which were opened later. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
