GI Home Federal Splits With Pius X
(Grand Island, NE) - Grand Island Home Federal split a pair of games with Pius X Union Bank & Trust on Thursday afternoon at Ryder Park. Game one went to GI 5-3. Grand Island had a 3-0 lead until a three-run home run by Pius X would tie the game up at three all. GI would answer with two runs in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead and secure the win.

The 85th annual Sutherland Rodeo offers one of the biggest purses of from the Nebraska State Rodeo Association and attracts some of the biggest cowboys and cowgirls in the sport.
