See who's changing classifications in the NCISAA for 2024-25
The NCISAA reclasses teams each year and schools are able to switch conferences any year as well (here were the changes going into last season). A school's 9-12 enrollment determines classification. Typically, schools with more than 300 are 4A; schools with more than 200 but less than 300 are 3A; schools with more than 100 but less than 200 are 2A; and schools with less than 100 are 1A. Single-sex schools like Christ School (all boys), Saint Mary's School (all girls) and Salem Academy (all girls) have their enrollments doubled before being classified.
