Person in custody after barricading in Charlotte gas station near popular mall: What we know
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A SWAT team was at a south Charlotte gas station Monday morning where a man had barricaded himself inside. The man -- who was not identified -- was inside a Circle K gas station near the corner of Sharon and Fairview roads, right outside SouthPark Mall, on Monday, July 29. The person had been inside the gas station since at least 7:30 a.m., according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, but was taken into custody hours later.
