The base fee for the project would total $1.5 million with engineering fees another $165,000. Other additions could range from landscaping to parking lot and drainage upgrades. LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - A Lawrence woman is set to spend time in prison after she pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the fentanyl-related death of her boyfriend. Douglas County District Attorney Suzanne Valdez announced on Wednesday, July 3, that Chloe L. Colby, 23, of Lawrence, pleaded no contest to involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy to commit unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. The move follows the death of a 21-year-old Lawrence man.
