Norristown woman admits to vehicular homicide in borough crash that killed one, injured five
NORRISTOWN — A Norristown woman who police alleged was speeding, trying to outpace another vehicle and driving recklessly at the time she caused a four-vehicle crash on West Main Street, killing a passenger in another vehicle and injuring five others, is awaiting her fate on a vehicular homicide charge.
Convicted Norristown killer admits to unrelated straw purchase scheme with girlfriend
NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man facing a life prison term for his role in the 2023 gunshot slaying of a man along the Schuylkill River Trail was convicted of unrelated charges connected to a 2021 straw purchase scheme during which his girlfriend purchased an assault rifle for him when he was prohibited by law from possessing a gun.

Car crashes into fire station in Marcus Hook, Delaware County
A driver was hurt after crashing into a fire station in Marcus Hook, Delaware County.It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at the fire station on 10th Street near Penn Avenue.Police say the driver sped across the lawn and knocked over the flag pole before the car finally hit the building.No firefighters were hurt.The cause of the crash remains under investigation.So far there has been no word on whether the driver will be charged.

Person rescued from under SEPTA train after falling on tracks on Broad Street Line
A person was rescued after getting caught under a train on the tracks of SEPTA's Broad Street Line.The person fell onto the tracks and got caught under a train at the Allegheny Station.Crews were called to the scene just after midnight on Thursday.They had to cut the power to allow a rescue crew to get onto the tracks and pull the person out from underneath.Action News was there as medics rushed that person to the hospital.We are working to learn their condition and what caused the fall.
