PSJA North senior to attend McCombs School of Business at UT Austin

PHARR, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — A PSJA North Early College High School senior signed a letter of acceptance into the prestigious McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

The district’s news release said Jonathan Romo’s acceptance into one of the nation’s top business schools is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and academic excellence throughout his high school years.

“I am honored to have been accepted into the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin,” said Romo. “I am grateful for the support of my family, teachers, and mentors who have helped me reach this milestone in my academic journey.”

Romo’s passion for business and his drive to succeed, make him an ideal candidate for the challenging academic environment at the McCombs School of Business, according to the PSJA ISD news release.

Additionally, Romo is a part of the nationally recognized PSJA Early College Program and is on track to graduate high school with 60 college credit hours from South Texas College.

While at UT Austin, Romo plans on double majoring in Accounting and Finance.
