Updates made in Pharr Interchange Project

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — There are new developments from the Texas Department of Transportation on the Pharr Interchange Project.

TxDOT says there will be a traffic pattern switch between Cage and Jackson roads. The lane for the Edinburg-McAllen connector will merge directly with I-2.

This means the entrance and exit ramps on the frontage road in this area will close. TxDOT tells us this is necessary for crews to complete the I-2 westbound lanes.
