HARLINGEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — Harlingen Commissioner for District Two Daniel Lopez talks about economic development in his city with the State of the City coming.

the biggest airport in the Rio grande valley but Harlingen didn't build it , the United States Air Force left it to Harlingen post world war 2 and TSTC is from Waco ,Tx. the main headquarters there are some other TSTC campuses in Texas. Harlingen o ly grows cause of other towns nearby like San Benito,Rio Hondo la feria etc... what happened to Harlingens so called regional mall ? it's practically shit down. Harlingen is not the capital of the valley and I don't know what idiot proclaimed that and Raymondville is gateway to the Rgv.i don't know why this boring small town puts itself so high . Harlingen is just another San Benito but bigger. Brownsville and mc Allen will never be surpassed by Harlingen.be realistic now .
