Make-A-Wish invites the public for September events

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley chapter invites the public to its two September events.

On Sept. 7 there will be a 5K Run/Walk at 4900 Tres Lagos Blvd. in McAllen starting at 8:30 a.m. To register or purchase tickets to this event click here .

On Sept. 21 join the chapter for Wine for Wishes By the Bay. This inaugural event will be held at The Greens at Viva on South Padre Island. To purchase tickets click here .

1,000 tickets will be available for this event at $40 per ticket. Tables of 8 are $750.

Proceeds for both events will go to Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley. Visit Make-A-Wish for more information.
