Nikki Rowe football player injured during weekend accident

McALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — A Nikki Rowe senior football player was injured during a weekend accident, a McAllen Independent School District spokesperson said.

Mark May with McAllen ISD identified the student as Adan De La Cruz. Cruz has been hospitalized for his injuries.

May added, as part of the district’s crisis response, school counselors will be available for staff and students who require counseling.

No added details on De La Cruz’s condition have been released.
