Miss Texas Latina 2024 and Miss Teen Texas Latina 2024 crowned Labor Day weekend in Houston!

HOUSTON (CW39) — Sunday night, September 1st was a night filled pageantry, purpose and a promise, to continue celebrating heritage and culture. That’s because the Miss Texas Latina and MIss Teen Texas Latina pageants were held once again, in Houston!

It is a pageant like none other! It not only celebrates the heritage and dynamic community service contestants do for their community, but also showcases the Brilliance of the Latin people who make the diverse community so incredible.

Sunday night—- two incredible ladies were named new queens and will now represent the community with pride around the state of Texas.

CW39’s Sharron Melton was there for the winning moments and today, talked with the newly crowned Allegra Rodriguez Miss Texas Latina 2024 and Vanessa Marcy Miss Teen Texas Latina 2024 (Above)! And for the first time, both title holders actually come from the same city of San Antonio.
