Accident with school bus in La Feria causes traffic back up

LA FERIA, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — An accident in La Feria caused traffic delays on the expressway Thursday evening.

The accident occurred on West White Ranch Road in the eastbound lanes.

A South Texas Independent School District bus and two other vehicles were involved, according to La Feria Police Officer, Cesar Diaz.

Police say one vehicle lost control causing a crash involving another vehicle and the bus.

The two students who were onboard the bus during the crash were checked out by EMS and released to their families with no injuries.

The vehicle that lost control had significant damage and the driver was cited by police.
