McAllen hosts flag ceremony for Mexico, Central American countries

McALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The City of McAllen hosted a flag raising ceremony Wednesday in commemoration of Independence Day for different Central American counties and Mexico.

The ceremony was held at 8:30 a.m. at the McAllen City Hall.

In honor of its vast culture and diverse population, the City of McAllen wanted to collaborate with the Consulates of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico to host a series of flag ceremonies.
