MCALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The city of McAllen and H-E-B announced the details of the annual Holiday Parade Thursday.

The theme for this year is “Noche Magica.”

“It is just a fantastic holiday tradition in McAllen and really all of South Texas. We’re lucky to be with our presenting sponsor, H-E-B,” said McAllen City Manager Isaac Tawill. “Eight years ago, they stepped up to the plate, hopped on the sleigh with us, and helped us elevate the magic of this evening. We are so excited to present “Noche Magica” to the residents the community and all of the Rio Grande Valley.”

Tawill added that Dallas Cowboys legend Tony Tolbert will be on hand as well as a 45-foot SpongeBob SquarePants balloon.

The parade is set for 6 p.m. Dec. 7 at the McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium.
