Palmview PD: Man took $3K without finishing job

PALMVIEW, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The Palmview Police Department is asking for the publics help in locating a man accused of taking payment for a job that was never finished.

Jose Barrientos Soto, 39, is wanted on a charge of theft for reportedly accepting $3,300 in payment to build a fence in July. However, the work was never done.

Anyone with information regarding Soto is asked to call Palmview Crime Stoppers (956) 584-8477.

Calls that lead to an arrest could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000.
