    Brownsville officer on motorcycle involved in accident during funeral escort

    BROWNSVILLE, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — A Brownsville officer driving a motorcycle was hit by a car while conducting a funeral escort, police say.

    The accident occurred at the 3200 block of S. Frontage Road.

    According to a social media post from the Brownsville Police Department, another vehicle hit the officer during the escort.

    The officer was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
