Brownsville artists paint light boxes across city

BROWNSVILLE, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The Brownsville Beautification Committee is spearheading a project to wrap up light boxes around the city.

Local artists entered a competition to be selected for a chance to have their art displayed across the streets. Now, the committee has chosen a few pieces to be displayed on light boxes around the city.

The wrapped light box pictured is themed “956 Can” and was designed by Eddie del Angel. It is a play on Campbells soup art but Valley style. The can reads Puro 956 and is supposed to display a can of menudo.

This is just one of many wrapping art pieces being put up across Brownsville. Keep an eye out for others!
