    RGV Pride hosts annual Fiesta De Colores event

    MISSION, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The Valley AIDS Council and RGV Pride, hosted its 11th annual pride event titled Fiesta De Colores.

    RGV Pride is known as the largest celebration in the Rio Grande Valley, who memorialize those who have advocated for LGBTQIA+ rights.

    The event aims to empower future generations and advocate for their communities. Organizers of the Fiesta De Colores event say they are looking into providing an all-inclusive community event to celebrate diversity.

    They added they are hoping the event can help create unity and dismantle stigmas associated with HIV testing and treatment.
