Driscoll Children’s Hospital host NICU reunion

EDINBURG, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The Driscoll Children’s Hospital held its annual neonatal intensive care unit reunion.

The annual event is organized for former NICU patients and families to meet and get to know one another.

Driscoll Children’s Hospital NICU director says the event is not only a NICU reunion but a family reunion.

“My favorite day of the year is me coming here and seeing our babies, and seeing how well the moms are doing,” said Driscoll Children’s Hospital NICU director. “This day we make it all about the babies and all about the graduates.”

During the event, staff who took care of the babies get the chance to reconnect with the “graduates” and their families.
