Houston police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a woman charged with murder in the shooting death of her husband, a bodybuilder named Michael Chidozi. The incident occurred months ago at their apartment on Yorktown Street. The victim’s wife, 28-year-old Kiara Chidozi, allegedly shot Michael multiple times while their two children were present in the home. Thankfully, the children were not injured during the shooting.

Midway through May, Houston Cougars quarterbacks coach Shawn Bell and first year head coach Willie Fritz landed the next member of Houston's quarterback room by acquiring the commitment of Missouri City (TX) Ridge Point QB Austin Carlisle. Carlisle wasted no time, immediately hitting the recruiting trail to bolster his class. The three-star officially visited Houston on June 7th and noted that he spent the majority of his time talking to Houston (TX) Heights safety Zaylen Cormier and Cypress (TX) Cy-Fair tight end Wyatt Herbel, two prospects who committed shortly after their visits. He's continued to spearhead a recruiting class that's on pace to be one of, if not the best, in school history. This past weekend, Carlisle competed at Dave Campbell's Texas State 7 on 7 Tournament.
