ETEF offers scholarships and sustainability through tennis

Man charged in shooting
HENDERSON — On June 9, the Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a gunshot victim at the 1300 block of Pool Rock Road. Deputies observed a crowd at a pool party but were unable to immediately locate the victim. A few moments later, a male identified as Qualil Champion, 21, of Henderson arrived at Maria Parham Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.
